Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2025-11-11
Drop Bot (operated by Luffy Corp). Contact: dropbot.us@gmail.com
1. Summary
Drop Bot facilitates giveaways in Discord servers. This policy explains the minimal data we collect, why we collect it, how long it is retained, and how you can request access or deletion.
2. Data we may collect
- Discord identifiers
- Discord User IDs, Server (Guild) IDs, Channel IDs — required for the bot to function and route messages.
- Message information
- Message IDs and timestamps for messages participating in giveaways. This data enables audit, prevents duplicate entries, and helps resolve disputes.
- Giveaway history
- Records of past giveaway messages, winners, and timestamps. Stored for audit and dispute resolution purposes (typically 7–30 days).
3. Purpose & legal basis
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service and to prevent abuse. The legal basis is legitimate interest to operate Drop Bot reliably and securely.
4. Retention
Data is retained for a maximum of 30 days by default. Common retention is 7 days. Server owners can request changes to retention where supported. Data is removed automatically when expired.
5. Who has access
Only the bot and the configured server owner(s) can access giveaway logs for that server. Drop Bot does not share logs with third-party marketing services.
6. Third parties & payments
Drop Bot does not process payments. Any payments or prize payouts are handled by the server owner separately from Drop Bot. If you make payments via a third-party, review that provider's privacy policy.
7. Security
We follow basic security practices: environment variables for secrets, restricted access, minimal storage period, and not storing tokens in public repositories.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by contacting dropbot.us@gmail.com. For server-level removals, please contact the server owner where appropriate.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date will be updated for material changes. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
